Your designs stay on your network

The iPad app and the Mac add-in talk directly to each other over your local network. After you pair them, everything between them is encrypted. Nothing about your designs is sent to us or to anyone else.

Pairing

Pairing creates a key that's stored only on your devices: in the iPad's Keychain, and in ~/Library/Application Support/Trunnion on your Mac.

Tips

Tips in the iPad app are in-app purchases handled by Apple. Apple processes the payment, and we don't receive your name, email or payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to the purchase.

Update check

Once a day, the Mac add-in asks trunnionapp.com for the latest version number. The request includes the add-in's version. Like any request to a website, it shows your IP address to the site's host, Cloudflare. We don't keep logs of these requests. To turn the check off, put {"check": false} in ~/Library/Application Support/Trunnion/update.json.
